A free spiritual community in the Catawba Valley

We are a community of many different kinds of people: young and old, gay and straight, theist and atheist. We are seekers of truth and understanding. We love music and laughter and intelligent conversation. We champion causes we believe in. We seek every day to be better people.

We are a free spiritual movement that embraces many other beliefs and traditions. Unitarian Universalists are not credal — LOVE is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our shared values.

  • Interdependence — we honor the interdependent web of all existence
  • Pluralism — we are sacred beings, diverse in culture, experience, and theology
  • Justice — we work to be diverse multicultural Beloved Communities
  • Transformation — we adapt to the changing world
  • Generosity — we cultivate a spirit of gratitude and hope
  • Equity — every person is inherently worthy

Our hybrid services begin at 10:30 am Eastern every Sunday. Nursery care is offered at all services for very young children, and we often have Spiritual Development classes for older children. Come in person or join us on Zoom.
